Privacy

Your location

• Your browser or the app always asks first. You can say no; we then search around the centre of the map.
• It is used only when you ask (diaper, food, visit). Coordinates are rounded to 3 decimals (about 100 m) and sent in the request body, never in a URL.
• The server uses them to find places around you and discards them. They are never stored or logged.
• During "Take me there", position updates are used to work out the distance on your device only.
• When you move the map, we send the visible map area (rounded the same way) to load pins.

Your child's profile

Age and height are kept in your browser's localStorage and used on your device to work out child fares and admission. They are never sent to the server. Clear the site's data to remove them.

Ratings and what you submit

• Public: the rating, your reason, place info you edit or add, and the date (no time).
• Not collected: name, email, account, phone number or your location.
• Against double votes and spam: your device creates a random code kept in localStorage and sends it with a rating. The server keeps only a one-way hash per item rated, so it cannot recover the code or tell that two ratings came from the same device. Daily limits use a hash that changes every day, and Cloudflare limits request rates per IP address without us storing it.
• The position of a place you pin becomes public as that place's location. We do not record who pinned it. Please do not pin homes or private places.
• Do not put anyone's personal details in a message. Messages with personal details are hidden.

Technical data

• The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and stop attacks.
• Our logs are kept briefly for troubleshooting: the URL, time and result. No coordinates or request bodies.
• Map images load from OpenFreeMap, which sees your IP address and the map area you view, as any map does.
• We use no cookies, no analytics and no ads.

Links to other services

Apple Maps, Google Maps and menu links carry only the destination's coordinates or name, never your location. Once opened, that service's policy applies.

Your rights

With no accounts, we cannot identify you from what we store. Data on your device can be cleared at any time. To have a message you sent removed or corrected, contact us with the place and the message.

We update this page when the system changes and show the date above.
